- In 1151, the medieval prophetess Hildegard of Bingen used the term "viriditas" to describe the green life force she witnessed in the lushness and fruitfulness of the world around her. I guess you could say I'm trying to seek out and describe those sources of viriditas in my own life - be it through building community, fostering organic and authentic relationships, or just keeping an eye towards the sky.
